### How much does it cost to purchase a 20' or 40' used container?
See pricing above
### What are the inside dimensions?
The interior of a standard 20-foot container is approximately 7'8" wide by 19.5' long. A standard 40-foot container is approximately 7'8" wide by 39.5' long. Standard units have approximately 7'10" of interior height, while High Cube containers have approximately 8'10" of interior height.
### Can the container be placed directly on the ground?
Yes, it can, but we don't advise it. Although the container is steel all around, it has a treated plywood floor. With Texas humidity and rain, it's not ideal to sit the container directly on the ground because, over time, moisture can seep through the floor and create condensation or mold that could affect the items stored inside.
### How much is delivery locally?
San Antonio local delivery starts at $275. Central Texas area delivery starts at $200, depending on the size of truck needed to deliver the container.
### If I'm renting the container and decide to purchase, is that an option?
Yes. Many customers start with a rental and later decide that purchasing makes more sense for their long-term needs. LSMS will sell the container based on the grade and condition it is in at that time. The purchase must be paid in full upfront, and all past-due rental invoices must be paid before the container can be sold and transferred to the customer.
Rental payments **do not go** toward the purchase price, as those payments were for the rental period.
### Do you have containers that open at both ends?
Yes we do. We offer containers in various configurations to fit different storage needs.
